My Path and My Acupuncture Practice:

As a lifelong learner I am constantly refining my craft to help improve my patients’ outcomes. I offer you that sum total of learning and skill development that can serve as an important addition to your healthcare strategy.

Modern medicine is moving away from quality time and hands-on touch with patients and is trending towards an emphasis on high technology and high patient turnover. It sounds silly to have to state the obvious, but as a human; I will treat you with respect, build rapport with you, and provide you treatment from a skilled human, not a device.

Much of my family is in medicine; you could say it was already in my blood. The decision to practice acupuncture was born out of a personal experience early in high school. This exposure at a young age made such great impact on me that it forged a path to help relieve suffering and engage the world through assisting in the well-being of others with this method.

I take the trust you place in me to feel better seriously and work hard to provide you a treatment that is going to serve you best. I choose to work alongside other Integrative minded practitioners since the body is such a dynamic organism and optimal health is usually obtained through more than one strategy. The group I work with at Capital Integrative Health has some of the best functionally-trained providers the metropolitan DC area has to offer. We address all of the major components of whole-person health including medical, nutritional, structural, energetic and mental health. If you wish to see me we can operate independently or as an integrated unit with the other practitioners. You do not need to join the CIH medical practice to see me individually for acupuncture.  Whatever strategy you choose, you are in good hands.

It will be a pleasure for me to be able to serve you and help you feel better. Thank you for considering me as your acupuncturist.
